Gunpowder also knows as "Zhu Cha", has a more nutty and earthy flavour compared to other Chinese green teas. You can sometimes even taste some smoky notes which come from the pan-fired drying process that this tea goes through. This tea is fantastic for re-infusing. As the leaves start to unravel from the first infusion, the second or even third infusion can be completely different! So definitely keep your leaves after you have made your first cup and try them again for the second time, you never know what flavour you might uncover!
